The TTP working group of the Canadian Apheresis Group has developed an algorithm to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of the TMA’s recognizing that, at presentation, it is often difficult to sort out the various causes of the TMA. This algorithm is being distributed to all 42 CAG apheresis centres as plasticized cards for use by referring physicians.
